Really good food. The Pide was amazing, and so was the mix grill. Just make sure you bring your appetite.
Service can be slow at times, but very friendly and always happy to offer any advice.

My husband and I stopped here when on route home south from Sheffield. We read the reviews online. As it’s the month of Ramadan where we are fasting. We were greeted with so much hospitality, accommodated with dates and water. The option to have food brought to the table when it was time to break the fast. We order d the sharing platter for 2. The meat was cooked to perfection. The food was 10/10 and we’d recommend the staff, the service, the atmosphere and most importantly the food. Most of the staff were fasting but that did not disappoint and we did ask of their food and we were told by the manager, the team had food set out for them to look after them this month. So Ramadan Mubarak, Etci family! Thank you for having us. We’ll be back to visit again.

It's one of the best places if you fancy a nice steak. Individual portions can feel a bit "small" if you're a good eater. Last time we ordered one of their specials, decent size pfor sharing. Their dessert, baklava with ice cream really hits the spot after a good meal. All in all, it was a very good experience. Price wise, they aren't the cheapest. However, the food is worth it. Staff were always happy to help, polite, and friendly.

We decided to try somewhere new and we couldn't be more pleased!
The food was amazing! From homemade bread at the table with dips, to fresh ingredient food, seeing it all cooked in front of us and staff offering complimentary tea. It was a new experience for us taste wise and we loved it!
Lots of lovely mocktails too! The pina coldas were amazing!
The STAFF were amazing - from greeting to the waitress (who was smiley and attentive!) to the host who came to take our bill we felt so looked after! We also saw the teamwork the staff had and how happy and laughy the kitchen staff were and how the host looked after his staff members. It made the meal experience even better!
IF YOU ARE THINKING OF COMING HERE I COULD NOT RECOMMEND IT MORE!!

Service was one of the worst experienced. Staff slow coming to take order, had to call them over after 20 minute wait. Dessert was served without any utensils or napkins. Had to ask for these, and then when the utensils came they were sticky and dirty. Table wasn't cleared before dessert came so had to contend with all the main dishes whilst trying to enjoy the dessert. Nothing upscale or lovely about this place, I'd avoid and stick to other Turkish establisments nearby.

I had an amazing dining experience at Etci Baba in Leicester, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Riley and Yucel. From the moment we arrived, Riley was incredibly attentive, considerate, and polite, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive. His respectful and professional approach made the evening even more enjoyable.
Yucel was equally impressive, demonstrating great professionalism and going above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Both Riley and Yucel worked seamlessly together, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Their attention to detail and dedication to customer satisfaction truly set them apart.
Highly recommend dining at Etci Baba, and if you're lucky enough to be served by Riley and Yucel, you’re in for a fantastic experience!

Went last weekend on a saturday it was very busy. Food was great except the rice, it wasnt very warm and looked like microeaveable rice. The toilets werent as clean as id liked and there was no toilet paper in a cubicle. On top of this one of the asian front of house staff saw his freinds come in and in an attempt to get them through earlier yelled, "you booked a resevation, yeh?" And smiled. His freinds appeared confused and he repeated himself they laughed and said "oh yeh yeh". There were a few of us ahead of them inciuding another group of 6. We thought this was unprofessional and unfair. The othet staff were great.

Tasty meaty is my favorite kind of food.
This is a meat lovers paradise.
Bit expensive but that is OK. The meat quality was very high.
I ate a mix grill for 2. It also comes with rice and couscous but not a fan of both.
Also I had Lamb with humus and grilled halloumi cheese.
Again the staff were all great and were patient.
Took our complicated large group orders and got everything perfectly right.
All quality sevice.
Nice family friendly place. Many people go there to celebrate birthdays. Large tables available for large group bookings.

The food is finger licking good and compliments to the chef. The staff is absolutely heavenly and very prompt. There were 10 of us and we did their heading so they patiently catered for all our needs. Much appreciated and we will definitely come back 🤗🙂
